Cassie wants to play too!

Not to be outdone in all the picture fun! Here is Cassie hamming it up for the camera!

Movement

I have fast learned that to accomplish everything I must do in a day and have even 5 minutes to myself I must move fast. This last week I moved fast to find the camera and get it on to catch Camryn's funniest move. I didn't have a lot of success, but try to follow along as she goes from her baby army crawl to a sitting position. it is quite funny!

Sisterly Love

When I found out we were adding a second girl to our family I got so many comments from people who had sisters that there was nothing like a sister! Now I never had a sister, always wanted one but never had on. So I really didn't know what to expect. But I must say the girls sure love one another! As camryn is getting older it is great to see them interact with one another! Just this weekend they played with toys together for over 20 minutes. Tonight the had a cuddle party on the couch with all their stuffed friends! I love it and I cannot wait to see what more excitement comes from two little girls!

Camryn

Yesterday we had puking incident # 2 with Cami, called the dr they wanted to see her in a few hours. As soon as I arrived at day care to get her I knew that would be changing as her feet were blue and her hands too. You might rememeber that we dealt with that before with her and also had the incident where her face turned blue. you can re-read that post here The Call you never want to recieve So off we rushed to the dr office. Once there her feet and hands were back to their adorable pink selves. The dr looked her over, diagnosed her with a stomach bug and then decided it was time to call in the pediatric cardiologist. We have a phone conference with them and I feel so much better now. We know that the issue is not her heart, as her tounge and gums are staying pink with other parts are blue. We know she likely does not have a vascular disease due to the pulses felt in her groin area being very strong. So what is going on with her is that she just hasn't outgrown the newborm poor circulation. being sick can aggravate that too! So as long as it is only hand and feet and they return pink we are good to go. I hope to never have to deal with this again and while I am making a wish list could I please have my good baby back? You know the one who doesn't cry everytime I try to set her down... My back hurts from carrying her non-stop!

At least she is adorable!

Christmas 2.0

We celebrated Christmas with daddy's family this weekend. The girls had a great time and I about peed my pants when the gifts were being handed out and my husband looked at his mom and said " Um hello, I only brought one car" Yes the girls were spoiled by all and I might admit to a small bit of carpel tunnel developing from putting together toys this morning!

Happy New Year

2010 was rung in with great enthusiasm, Cassie and her best buddy Ava got to stay up until midnight and toast with some sparkling apple cider! Like a bad mom I didn't take a single picture, but that is all about to change! I have challened myself to a 365 project. I am going to take one picture of each girl every day in the year 2010. I cannot guarantee you it will be beautiful shots daily, or that it will interest you to follow along. but I know in the end I'll have something for my daughters to look back anytime they choose! So feel free to follow us over at our new blog http://365cassieandcamryn.blogspot.com/ I don't guarantee to post to the blog once a day but I do guarantee the picture will be taken and posted as each individual day. I'll still be using this blog as well to keep you up to date on all our fun lives! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Things I have learned in 2009

Two is better than One

I thought being a parent was the best job in the world and worried that I would have enough love to give baby number two. But what I really learned is that two little girls is far better than just one and I have room in my heart for all of my loves!

Be careful what you wish for

All those night spent wishing Camryn would not come too early and what did we end up with? A 6 day late, had to be evicted sweetheart. I could barely walk and wanted to scream and cry when they moved my induction from Friday to Monday ( ok I did scream and cry)  But in the end it was worth it!

You are never to old to make new friends

Not that I or my friends are old, but if you had told me two years ago I'd make a whole new group of friends I'd have never believed you. I am thankful each day for these lovely ladies and the joy, happiness and dose of reality they bring to my life.

No matter how busy you are there is always time to help others

Here I thought life with one daughter was busy, then I added a second and I still found the time to get involved in a cause that is very dear to my heart. Maybe you've been reading my blog for years and know all about the Liz Logelin Foundation but in case you don't I think you should take a bit of time to get to know this foundation and the great things it does. My heart is warmed every time I think about the things being done, the generosity of donors and the volunteers and the families who so desperately need our help!

Life is Good

I have crappy days like anyone, moments I am stressed out and frustrated. My kids can push my buttons, my husband too. But in the end it is obvious to me that life here is good. I hope you take the time to see the good in your life from 2009 and the good yet to come in 2010

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
