Two weeks and Soccer

Camryn saw the Dr on Monday for her 2 weeks check up and now weighs 8lbs 6 ounces and is 19 &3/4 inches long. Pretty good growth for a little girl. Here she is hanging out with her blankie waiting on the dr.

Cassie is enjoying being the big sister and has made the transition pretty easily, let's hope that continues! She is a great helper and always up to grab the binkie, toss out a dirty diaper, or whatever as long as it is on her schedule :-)

She had her first soccer game this week, she likes to play Goalie!

And run the ball and score, Not a big fan of the other team taking her ball, but she'll get better!

Camryn is doing great, big sister loves her,

mommy isn't too sore or tired and we are all feeling blessed to share with you our newest family member.

she has basically slept, ate, and enjoyed her first bath! What a good baby so far!

It's all about Easter!

I've been collecting Easter related pictures here for over a week so be forewarned.

Last weekend we attended an Easter Egg Hunt at a local Community Center, here is Cassie ready to hunt ( she had to look real hard for these eggs:-) Getting some eggs and then checking out her goods with dad!

Then we dyed Easter eggs at home last week


Our Easter bunny was a tricky one this year, on Saturday while Cassie was outside playing with mom and grandma Cookie he snuck in the back yard, hid eggs and left baskets, yeah baskets two of them to be exact. Cassie saw him at the restaurant last night and said to him " Easter bunny, you didn't know Camryn wasn't here yet" so cute and so real the bunny sure thought she'd be here by now!

We hope you have a great Easter and that eventually Camryn arrives to see what is in her basket not that anyone is counting but she is now 4 days past due,(that's 46 days longer I've been pregnant this time around)

Wii are the champions

Tonight I got the cutest video of Cassie doing the Wii fit with daddy, we are happy to report her BMI is normal and the trainer thinks she is doing great, she is better at the Yoga Tree position then I was 9 months ago and out ran her daddy in a race!

You know it is spring when...

the sounds you hear ringing through the neighborhood is that of the revving engines of the 4-wheelers. My neighbor and I know it is spring when suddenly we are home alone with all the kids and our husbands spend their time in the garages and online ordering parts. You might think this would get annoying and it can when the most I see of my husband in a day is his lime green machine tearing up the street and back, but for someone in our family it is the most exciting time. Cassie has a true love for the 4-wheeler that is quite adorable. Last weekend she got to ride Daddy's out at a friends house

and then come home and get hers ready for the year. Here she is doing some riding and some tinkering to make sure everything it working right

I wish I had gotten a shot of her gassing up, she put her gas in each tire of her 4-wheeler!

St. Patty's and the things kids say!

First of all, Happy St. Patricks day, Did the leprechauns visit your house? They left us Green milk to drink this morning, it was very exciting!

As I was getting Cassie dressed this morning I realized we were repeating last years outfit so for comparison here she is

When they say kids say the darnedest things they sure aren't kidding! Last night Cassie was asking when the baby would be coming and of course I told her it would be soon, I said the baby was almost done cooking and her reply was " I hope she doesn't burn mommy"
I about fell over laughing!
